Each sport has a unique set of skills for athletes to learn, practice, and master. From these online courses, students gain a solid understanding of sport-specific technical and tactical skills in order to teach these skills effectively, as well as two options for how to teach them: the traditional approach and the games approach.
With course registration, students receive a copy of the Coaching Basketball Technical and Tactical Skills book and CD-ROM containing video clips, which students refer to while going through the courses. Incorporating audio clips, Flash animation, interactive quizzes, downloadable coaching aids, and online test, the course takes students chapter by chapter through the book, providing an engaging, interactive learning experience.
An additional feature of the course is the groundbreaking Dartfish video analysis technology allowing students to view key technical skills frame-by-frame. Coaches will also gain valuable insight on developing practice and season plans and coaching on game day.
