The United States Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) has agreed to adopt ASEP Professional Coaches Education Program as part of its requirements for becoming a USSA Certified Coach.
USSA currently offers Coaching Principles online and classroom courses and Sport First Aid online and classroom courses.
USSA coaches can purchase and take Coaching Principles Online and Sport First Aid Online directly from the ASEP Web site. Or, if you prefer to take the Coaching Principles Classroom and Sport First Aid Classroom versions of the courses, contact the USSA for a schedule of clinics or search ASEP's Classroom Course Finder.

Level 100 continuing education credits can be obtained by purchasing the new USST: Alpine Ski Fundamentals CD-ROM (http://educationshop.ussa.org) and completing the exercises within it.
This latter course has been accepted as satisfying the sport-specific component of ASEP’s Bronze Level certification. The Bronze Level, consisting of Coaching Principles, Sport First Aid, a sport-specific techniques and tactics course, and CPR validation, is a comprehensive coaching education curriculum aimed at training the entire coach. Through the ASEP Professional Coaches Education Program Bronze Level courses, more than 40 states currently require the Bronze Level in whole or in part for their high school coaches.
